THE ROLE
In this role, you will facilitate employee communications across global groups and functions to enable and support large-scale and functional transformations including operating model changes, integrations, HR process and system changes, and new technology adoption. You will ensure a clear approach to transformation that enables transformation teams and workstreams' to deliver employee communications that drive business results, while streamlining processes and boosting productivity utilizing proficiency in project management and agile methodologies, such as the Prosci ADKAR Model, Six Sigma, and Kotter change model. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the communication strategy during pivotal transformation efforts, driving organizational alignment and sustained employee engagement within PepsiCo.
This is a hybrid role based in our Purchase, NY HQ.
Responsibilities
Strategic Communication Leadership
- Design and implement an integrated communication strategy tailored to large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Develop a flexible communication roadmap aligned with transformation milestones.
- Act as a central point for aligning messaging across functions, ensuring consistency and clarity.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior leaders (board, CTO, PMO, HR, and other stakeholders) to align on key communication priorities and timing.
- Anticipate and address employee concerns and fears through proactive and empathetic messaging.
- Foster trust and credibility with key stakeholders, including workforce councils and unions.
Change Management Communications
- Drive the development of employee communication programs to support associate engagement and leadership alignment.
- Oversee employee communications advising and content development for organizational announcements, workforce strategies, and crisis communications in partnership with external communications teams
- Partner with HR and transformation offices to craft strategic messaging around the operating model and workforce changes.
Team Development and Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing employee transformation communications team that collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Establish and enforce internal communication brand standards, ensuring alignment with overall corporate branding.
- Lead the development and enhancement of digital communication platforms for use specific to transformation and change communications (e.g., intranet, transformation apps).
Metrics and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee communication strategies specific to transformation and change using metrics such as employee feedback, intranet engagement, and post-event surveys.
- Drive continuous improvement in communications processes and infrastructure.
- Ensure risk mitigation in communication through preemptive planning and consistent stakeholder alignment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $151,200 - $300,000.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 35% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
- Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years relevant experience in a Change Communications or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree required in Communications or relevant field
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- World-class communications skills, with the ability to translate messages to all levels of the organization, including front line.
- Proven success in leading communication strategies for large, complex initiatives in a Fortune 500 or similarly scaled environment.
- Strong experience partnering with senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency with agile methodologies, such as the Prosci ADKAR Model, Six Sigma, and Kotter change model; certification/accreditation preferred
- Significant experience in Employee Change Communications; having managed global change efforts in large-scale organizations
- Ability to work, network, communicate and motivate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Passion for training, engaging and sharing learnings, best practices and insights to support all global and market teammates.
- Highly responsive, flexible and agile thinker, with great negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in managing multi-channel communication strategies, including digital platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and build trusted relationships across functions.
- Demonstrated understanding of HR function and HR programming around change
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a highly decentralized environment with local, global and remote teams, while able to draw items to closure.
- Familiarity with corporate governance, labor relations, and regulatory communication requirements.
