The Director of Enterprise & Leader Engagement will spearhead dynamic global rollout of enterprise communications, playing a pivotal role in shaping how employees connect and engage across PepsiCo. This role will lead a dynamic small team while collaborating closely with a broader group to lead high-impact communications initiatives from global functions to the entire enterprise, while overseeing major content and communication projects.

  • Partner with key leaders across the company to develop compelling stories that thread the needle across multiple company priorities-for example, how our digital transformation contributes to pep+-and tell them in a unique way that is relevant to their role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive owned channel and content strategies aligned with PepsiCo's overall organizational and corporate reputation goals
  • Think outside the box to design and execute effective communications to keep employees informed and engaged through creative, omni-channel storytelling
  • Create and lead the delivery of the content strategy, including content series and editorial planning
  • Bring best practices on editorial planning and delivery to drive high-quality, relevant content to associates around the world
  • Develop and lead the associate channel strategy and execution across platforms such as pepsico.com, intranet, global newsletters, digital signage, social media, ambassadors, etc
  • Drive associate corporate reputation and manage campaigns effectively, as well as create assets and processes to enhance corporate reputation and campaign management
  • Ensure omni-channel, centralized communications planning for storytelling and enterprise communications efforts around key business moments and programs such as The PepsiCo Way, pep+, employer of choice awards, etc
  • Develop and execute strategies for the CEO and PEC associate engagement plan
  • Execute an ambassador/influencer program, including playbooks, templates, guidelines, toolkits, and engagement content
  • Contribute to content management and storytelling across critical narratives and strategies specific to key enabling and growth functions
  • Drive the global implementation of enterprise communications through various functions and lead communications from global functions to the enterprise
  • Gather and partner with data team to analyze employee content and channel data and metrics

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
    Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually
    and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • 12+ years communications experience with proven success managing high-profile internal and change communications projects, CPG or tech industry experience preferred
  • In-house journalism and editing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • World-class communications skills, with the ability to translate messages to all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent writer and editor
  • Skilled at creating effective messaging and content that drives opinion and behavior change.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to independently and resourcefully find answers, solve problems, and drive work forward
  • Experience managing editorial processes and teams to deliver regular content and distill it down for global channel networks
  • Ability to work, network, communicate and motivate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Highly responsive, flexible and agile thinker, with great negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Creative thinker who's not afraid to bring new ideas to the table
  • Able to learn complex subjects and distill them into messages that resonate with internal audiences.
  • Experience in managing agency resources and budgets
  • Willing to travel occasionally
