Ask Ada is PepsiCo's internal knowledge management and community platform, connecting various sources of knowledge such as SharePoint, partner research, subscriptions, and experts. It is an internal search engine for the Consumer and Commercial organization powered by Gen AI. It democratizes access to knowledge and empowers employees with the tools they need to perform their roles better, simplifying navigation within the organization.

The Project Manager for the Ask Ada team will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects aimed at enhancing the platform. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and an understanding of the platform's technical and business requirements. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, this within an agile approach of biweekly sprints.

Responsibilities

END TO END OWNERSHIP OF THE ROADMAP EXECUTION:

  • Lead end-to-end roadmap from the briefing process to the implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and escalation when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Keep a log of issues within a learning environment where we are securing the right checking points to don't fall into the same errors again.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:

  • Orchestrate within the team the different components within a project such us brief, feedback, scope, approval, testing, communications, live day, etc.
  • Proactively secure the flow of external connections, ensure the connection is running and look for opportunities to keep improving.
  • Play a critical role on the monthly governance council, leading the agenda and maintaining our functional leads informed and engaged.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / OR HIGHLY TECH SAVVY:

  • Understand tech companies' ways of working, sprint cycles and technical language, and act as a connector within PepsiCo to translate these into simple business terms.
  • Being able to understand PepsiCo's Enterprise architecture and play a key role in conversations spotting opportunities on how Ask Ada fits in the ecosystem.
  • Understand concepts such us Gen AI, NLP, ML, LL.

BUSINESS ACUMMEN AND DOCUMENTATION:

  • The PM does not need to be SME or any topic but have enough business understanding to be able to test according to the content that is being connected. This role becomes the motor of this team, bringing structure to every conversation and connecting the right stakeholders. Able to challenge any incomplete brief or idea that does not meet the criteria towards the strategy. Tough Minded leadership
  • Formalize processes and keep them updated.
  • Keep our partner Lucy AI accountable according to LSA and test the quality of their deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Project Management).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Project manager should have a combination of IT and project management skills to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
  • Tech Savvy, someone who is comfortable with technologies. Experience managing a tech project.
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a FMCG, IT projects or digital environment.
  • Ability to learn from business processes and documentation is crucial for the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident professional who can speak up at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to solicit actionable feedback and convey needed actions to the broader team.
