ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Director of Enterprise Service Operations will be responsible for the overall operational efficiency, security, and effectiveness of the company's IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in running cost-conscious global IT operations and a high standard of talent density. The Senior Director will lead a hybrid workforce of IT professionals globally to ensure that all IT systems run smoothly, securely, and in alignment with business needs. This role will require tight collaboration with our Workplace, People, Studio, and Information Security teams.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Lead a Global IT Team: Foster a high-performance culture within a globally distributed IT team. Drive employee engagement and development through mentorship, coaching, and training opportunities. Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation.
- Oversee Remote and Onsite IT Support: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all IT support services, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of technical issues for both remote and onsite employees. Implement service level agreements and performance metrics to track and improve service delivery.
- Provide Network Engineering Expertise: Collaborate with Peloton studio teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and secure network infrastructure. Ensure high availability and performance of network systems to support critical business operations and content delivery.
- Manage IAM and Collaboration Systems: Oversee the administration and security of identity and access management (IAM) and collaboration systems. Partner with the information security team to implement and enforce access controls, data security protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Manage IT Budget and Vendor Relationships: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and optimal return on investment. Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, especially network architecture for retail, studio, call center, and office environments.
- Experience with IT security and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of IT professionals in a hybrid work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience enhancing employee experience by leveraging AI and other automated tools.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and collaboration tools.
- Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
- Experience leading, navigating, and rolling out large projects/migrations while not losing sight of the employee experience.
- Striking a balance between being strategic and having a bias to action.
- Evidence of proactively identifying friction points in the employee experience journey and addressing it.
