Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Director, Finance. You will lead our long-range planning process, ensuring we have a granular and actionable plan that is foundational for our finance organization and the broader company. This is a high-impact role that requires strong analytical skills, an ability to creatively drive solutions and partner with key stakeholders across the company.
Your Impact
- Work as a critical member of the Corporate Finance team, driving the long-range plan that supports our long term growth strategy, investment and resource allocation decisions, and efficiency targets
- Build a long range plan model that triangulates market, product, and GTM key assumptions and drivers, to enable strategic business decisions and execution plan formation
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Strategy, GTM, Product Management, R&D, and functions and create effective engagement throughout the planning cycle. Establish end-to-end processes and objectives, lead proactive communications, and ensure alignment and execution
- Provide actionable recommendations as a result of the long-range planning process to help creates shareholder value
- Drive ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance, MBA preferred or equivalent military experience required
- 8+ years of experience in finance, including an ability to recruit, manage and mentor high performing teams
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with a mix of top-line and cost analysis
- Ability to prioritize, adapt to changes, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively
- Team player, self-motivated, proactive, organized, positive attitude
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and FP&A-oriented software offerings - Experience with financial systems including SAP and data visualization tools, including Tableau
- Strong market research skills and industry experience is a plus

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $203000 - $279500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
