Purpose and Job Summary:
The Real Estate Investment Strategies (REINS) Portfolio Management team of Lument is seeking to add a Portfolio Analytics and Process Management team member to be involved in analytics, data management and process design as it pertains to its role as Portfolio Manager of non-agency investments. Reporting to the head of Portfolio Management, this new role will support the REINS PM team in its Portfolio Management duties and through further expansion of investment mandates and financing vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process design / management of information flow to Portfolio Management
- Aid in processes associated with Collateral Management and Front-end Portfolio Management via technology solutions
- Enhance and build analytics, mainly using PowerBI including coordination with Asset Management and other departments
- Coordinate with other departments
- Maintenance and enhancement of loan level data analytics and reporting
- Maintenance / structuring of other data including track records, models etc.
- Build and maintain broader CRE analytics tools for use in REINS workflow
- Travel Requirements - 5%
- Other projects and duties as assigned

Education, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Data Analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, lending, or portfolio management with a demonstrated focus on data analytics (loan-level data, collateral, reporting).
- Proficiency with Power BI (or similar data visualization tools), SQL, and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Python, or other data management tools is a plus.
- Working knowledge of multifamily/commercial real estate credit, capital markets, and basic origination processes; familiarity with agency lending requirements, CLOs, CMBS, and bridge loans is preferred.
- Proven ability to structure and maintain large datasets, develop analytics dashboards, and streamline data workflows that enhance portfolio management processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and present complex information in clear, concise formats.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize multiple assignments and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in all business matters.
- Team player mentality with a flexible, problem-solving approach; able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), including the ability to produce professional reports and presentations.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment.
Annual base salary gross: $115,000 - $135,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA's salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA's total compensation package for employees.
