Responsibilities include:
Leading a team focused on execution of the department's grant making activities and program strategy that requires network-wide or similarly complex coordination; Oversees all grant-making activities in the department including implementation and helping to design and evaluate a broad range of programmatic, operational and administrative activities for the global network; Managing full project design within the department, exercising full discretion and effectively managing time, budget and stakeholders; Initiating, formulating and implementing new processes, procedures and/or systems; Developing and implementing change management strategies for engaging key stakeholders to shape and accept the new solutions; Contributing to the collective effort to develop and refine strategic directions including involvement in dialogue to refine concepts, development of supporting data, and identifying and resolving potential conflicts, obstacles, political concerns, etc.; Maintaining contacts and relationships in the field and related fields, and close relationships internally on issues related to finance, compliance, etc., and providing substantial ongoing advice and assessment to the OSF President on the progress of the strategy and future directions; Maintaining grant making practice in alignment with OSF's approach to grant making and in compliance with organizational and external standards and regulations; Using grant making experience and expertise to develop, mentor, guide, and assess grant makers, playing significant role in grant making decisions; Establishing and implementing team's skills development plan; and Developing and delivering budget plans for team and portfolio of work. Must have a Master's degree in Political Science, Communications or related field and three years of experience in grantmaking for an international nonprofit organization. $102,500 - 189,600/yr.
