Purpose of your role:
- You will be responsible for the implementation and discipline of paid digital initiatives that reach new customers, build brand awareness, and acquire new clients globally.
- What you do
- Reporting to the Head of Digital Acquisition, you will be hands-on with the execution and management of digital campaigns across display marketing, programmatic buying, paid social, remarketing, and analytical reporting.
- You will also work closely with the regional marketing team members and external agencies, to keep pace with the ongoing design, implementation, improvement and optimisation of all performance, data, and marketing initiatives globally.
- You will be responsible for managing campaign budgets to overall efficiency targets and ensure campaigns are translating to a positive ROI in the short term, but more importantly, delivering long term business growth.
- Design, and execute various performance and awareness-based campaigns using digital media channels (display, programmatic, video and social) to achieve engagement, conversions, CPA efficiency and revenue targets for the business across various geographies
- Work closely with the website team to maximise the SEO and CRO opportunities, that deliver optimal performance for paid search marketing and various paid media channels where appropriate.
- Execute on our first part data strategy by working with internal teams and external agencies to productionise operational and analytical data, that deliver performance and customer engagement revenue
- Work with internal and external teams to refine and improve the automation of 'cloud to marketing' integrations from the data warehouse to the various AdTech and MarTech platforms
- Manage the marketing budget in line with the overall marketing strategy and continuously adjust allocation based on the performance and acquisition mediums
- Use operational and analytical data to report and analyse the effectiveness and performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against KPIs
- Develop a pipeline for innovation across marketing channels and teams, including new digital product or platform developments, first party data initiatives and A/B testing
- Work with internal marketing teams to develop best practice creative format that is in line with the brand marketing message and delivers campaign performance
- Champion the tracking and tracking discipline of all marketing campaigns to deliver accuracy and reporting transparency
- Maintain the discipline and execution of ad fraud protection software across all digital platforms and campaigns
- Report and present digital results to wider marketing and executive level audiences as required.
- Provide ad-hoc digital reporting for important requests across the business.
- Close stakeholder engagement will help to ensure success in this role. Examples of this engagement may include, but not be limited to:
- Maintaining a close working relationship with the marketing teams locally & globally for alignment and to understand how individual activities may be impacting digital marketing campaigns
- Work with the Data Capability and Insights & Marketing Analyst to identify and address issues and opportunities both technically and in planning/prioritising.
- Work with Website, Brand and UX teams to size and define any improvements to the website and user journey you may identify.
- Work closely with the Head of Digital Acquisition:
- Forecast & track monthly budgets and performance targets by geography against overall budgets and targets.
- Raise issues and obstacles blocking delivery of initiatives
- Agree on high level priorities and direction as it evolves, or as grey areas & conflicting interests appear.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
- Experience setting up campaigns using Google Marketing Platform Suite and Google platforms including DV360, Campaign Manager, SA360, Google Ads and YouTube
- Experience setting up campaigns using social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Experience with SEO, CRO and paid search strategies or execution is desirable
- Experience with paid social and organic social strategies or execution is desirable
- Technical analytics experience using GA360, to transform data sets into actionable insights and strategies across marketing
- Experience creating marketing dashboards using Google Data Studio or similar
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides and Word/Doc software
- Google Cloud Platform with BigQuery and SQL is a desirable but not essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Keen team player, proactively engaging stakeholders
- Must have a positive & motivated personality and a passion for online marketing
- Ability to be self-sufficient and self-educated in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks against business value
