QMS ESD Compliance Engineer

NVIDIA is searching for a Quality Management System engineer with strong ESD compliance knowledge to establish and maintain laboratory standards to our customers' requirements and industry standards. What You'll Be Doing:

Ensure that ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management principles are implemented and maintained along with requirements from our customers. You will be the focal point for laboratory compliance related topics (Calibration, ESD, MSA, Competence, Training). The responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and improving applicable, ESD, Calibration, and Lab Management procedures
  • Supporting and conducting internal/external laboratory audits
  • Working with internal multi-functional teams and external calibration and ESD suppliers
  • Generating, reviewing, and communicating lab metrics to management
  • Participating in corrective actions and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency
  • Start continuous improvement programs based on Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) methodology
  • Performing gap analysis of our customer's requirements and leading industry standards to NVIDIA's Quality Management System
  • Crafting, maintaining, and delivering training material
  • Mentoring and voicing support for the QMS to all levels of the company

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of ESD experience
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001:2016 and ESD protection industry standards: JESD625 and ANSI/ESD S20.20!
  • Ability to effectively handle assigned projects and present information and results to management and internal customers
  • Strong skills in organizing, analyzing, negotiating, and relationship building across diverse multifunctional groups
  • Dedication to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Self-motivated and good social skills

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Solid knowledge of ISO 17025, IATF 16949 and ISO 26262
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing certification
  • Experience with 5S methodology or equivalent
  • ASQ certified quality auditor (CQA) and/or engineer (CQE)

The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 172,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
