We are now looking for a Manager, SoC Architecture! NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional manager for our Tegra Architecture Team to drive the development of future high-performance, power-efficient SOC (System on Chip) processors to be used in 3D graphics, deep learning, HPC (High Performance Computing) and automotive markets. What you'll be doing:

  • Delivery high quality architecture working across teams like design, verification, physical design, marketing, software & others.
  • Identify key areas for architectural improvements across Architecture/Software/Hardware and develop new features, defining requirements and dependencies across various teams.
  • Understanding performance, & power modeling or analysis and implications.
  • Drive improvements to architecture development processes to improve execution capabilities.
  • Industry standards tracking & 3rd party IP technical evaluation

What we need to see:

  • Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ overall years of architecture experience with at least 5 years managing a team or projects.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities to grow a team and drive execution of a chip project.
  • You have meaningful industry expertise in SoC architecture definition - Clocks, Resets, Automotive safety, Interconnects, Memory Controller, Boot, Virtualization, Power Management, Security, System Performance, IO technologies, (PCIE, Camera Interfaces, etc), Multimedia accelerator pipelines, CPU/GPU coherency, Platform integration
  • Comfortable communicating and solving issues at all levels of architecture definition from micro-architecture to system level to software architecture

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Automotive Functional Safety expertise, working experience with ISO26262 standard.
  • Experience with a breadth of System Architectures and management in different areas of chip design.
  • Inventions in one or more domains relevant to SoC architecture.

The base salary range is 220,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
