- Apply memory management techniques, database partitioning, optimal storage and common database tuning techniques to ensure system performance

- Write complex Python scripts for data manipulation and using libraries such as Pandas for data manipulation

- Database design practices, normalization concepts and indexes

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years with RDBMS Database Development - Microsoft SQL Server v2016 (and above), Advanced T-SQL

Nice to have:

- 3+ years Hadoop ecosystem (preferably Cloudera)

- Data modeling and data warehouse development

- Python

- Spark and other ETL tools for Big Data (preferably Talend)

- HDFS, Hive, Pig, Sqoop and NoSQL (preferably MongoDB)

- SQL Server in VLDB environment

- Tableau and other reporting tools.

- Connectivity Tools (Connect Direct, SSH Tectia)

- Enterprise scheduling tools (Autosys, etc)

Education:

-Degree: Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent work experience
