We are currently seeking a PMO Planner to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Job Description: PMO Planner

The main tasks

  • Maintain and update SAP Cloud ALM
  • Maintain and update MS Project tracking , milestones
  • Knowledge of SAP project and programs
  • Design and maintain a closed network schedule upon the milestones including coordination of the resources and budgets.
  • Monitors Programme Reporting, ensuring clear and accurate status reporting. Prepares status for governance meetings
  • Working with the workstream leads, ensures an integrated plan is in place with critical path highlighted. Ensures the POAP and detailed programme plan is maintained
  • Working with Programme and project managers to set up and manage key Programme Management Meetings, minuting actions and decisions.
  • Able to deliver all PMO-tasks to support the project (e.g. PERT, Risk & Opportunity management, Project Control, Training & Coaching)
  • Track all internal and external milestones for the project and the events they are dependent on;
  • Identifying the deliverables, contents and follow them through the project with rescheduling as necessary.
  • Deliver metrics and analyses to the Project Manager to aid effective project management; pro-actively support the Project Manager in reaching the agreed deliverables.
  • Performing various analyses, calculations and cost consolidations (e.g. EAC validation, Earned Value Management, SPI/CPI, KPIs).
  • Assigning available employees to projects in accordance with their skillsets, previous experience, and availability.
  • Capacity planning, i.e. making sure that resources have capacity to work on upcoming projects.
  • Monitoring and managing employees' workload, utilization, and overtime hours.
  • Ensure project teams adhere to PMO guidelines, document KPIs, and support change control processes.
  • Managing resource conflicts.
  • Overcoming resource shortages by means of resource management techniques, reallocating resources, assigning more staff, etc; informing Practice Lead of any issues related to inability to meet clients' needs due to resourcing.
  • Providing project managers with support when it comes to resource management issues or improving resource management processes.
  • Knowing all the current and upcoming projects run in an organization and business development activities and being able to plan resourcing accordingly.
  • Being familiar with labour laws as well as resource management trends.
  • Resource forecasting, planning, capacity/competency, scheduling & management.
  • Documenting processes (e.g. weekly utilization report, Practice reports weekly, monthly etc.).
  • Publishes periodic reports on resource availability, allocation, training, etc to stakeholders.
  • Skills and competences
  • Ability to use SAP Cloud ALM
  • Ability to use MS Project, PPPT, XLS, WORD
  • Knowledge and experience in working on SAP projects / programmes.
  • Proficiency in human resource and project management with 10 yrs of experience
  • Ability to use technology (analytics tools, CRM, PSA or resource management software),
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws,
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently,
  • Critical thinking, analytical and forecasting skills,
  • Conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills,
  • Flexibility and good decision-making skills,
  • Managerial and time-management skills,
  • Interpersonal interaction skills (effective communication, negotiation, collaboration, the ability to be diplomatic and stand one's ground).
