We are currently seeking a .NET/Splunk Software Developer to join our team Remote based anywhere in Canada.
Job Description
- The .NET Developer codes software applications based on business requirements.
- The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
- The .NET Developer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
- Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes.
- Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.
- Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
- Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
- Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or Application Programming Development using .NET Core and .NET Frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in writing Splunk queries.
- Familiarity with UpToDate .NET/.NET Core framework & related technologies.
- Good knowledge on Splunk Architecture, Administration and its Components.
- Experience with Splunk Knowledge objects, (Saved Searches, Lookups).
- Experience with Splunk index Cluster and Search Head Cluster environment.
- Good understanding of OnPremise and Splunk Cloud.
- Experience with Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts.
- Experience in creating Data Models and Dev-ops experience.
- Experience in remediation / upgrade / migration projects.
- Experience with working in Agile environment.

- Strong client interfacing skills.
