NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a IT Scrum Master - MES_ERP to join their team

Job Description:
Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Scrum Master who has strong experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems and ERP applications to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Greenville, NC.

This Scrum Master is a solution-oriented leader that can apply their Business Analysis experience in supporting or developing MES and ERP applications. The resource will use agile methodology experience to lead global, cross-functional teams with experience in MES and ERP applications with familiarity with Kanban/Jira to successfully deliver the project. The Scrum Master will be adept at building and maintaining relationships, customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage Scrum teams (internal, external, & for multiple divisions) in parallel, with regular standups, promoting team collaboration, innovation, and quality outcomes.
  • Connect with IT teams, vendor teams and business to remove any roadblocks
  • Establish team level cadence and drive team level ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, team retrospectives, backlog refinement, etc.)
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to encourage adoption of good Agile practices
  • Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration
  • Facilitate management of the Scrum team's dependencies between the team and third parties, release managers, or other Scrum teams
  • Analyze the business requirements and propose solutions to cater to Manufacturing business
  • Assist with testing the functionality developed in different testing efforts
  • Work with different manufacturing operations and technical operations teams to understand the business processes and become part of building solutions
  • Continuously improve the process and practices by automating manual processes and improving project execution efficiency
  • Deliver using Jira
  • Monitor and track the progress of agreed schedules and action items.
  • Leverage lean thinking in building processes and metrics, growing agile practices across the organization to support end-to-end product delivery.
  • Communicate product risks, progress, launches and retrospective across all stakeholder teams - consistently and transparently.
  • Strive constantly to improve and establish a high bar in product/project execution using objective metrics.
  • Develop and maintain product goals, delivery plans (milestones, deliverables, and schedules), success criteria/KPIs and performance against them.
  • Provide regular status update to the Leadership and Management team with constant drive to make improvements to the outcomes.
  • Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to take responsibility to support new projects that has priority and as communicated.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree
  • 5+ years of Experience leading Agile / Scrum adoption at the team level
  • Experience with Agile management tools such as Atlassian Jira
  • Agile/Scrum Certification
  • Business Analysis experience
  • MES/ERP implementation experience
  • Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience as Application Project Manager/Scrum Master leading multiple Scrum teams supporting business transformation.
  • Experience working on Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating the ceremonies like backlog grooming, epic /User story, daily standups, estimation and velocity, resolving impediments, sprint retrospection, coaching team members and usage of JIRA, Confluence and metrics reporting.
  • Experience with Scrum of Scrums a plus.
  • Strong understanding of different software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, iterative development, etc.
  • Technical knowledge in at least one programming/scripting language and database management system to be able to facilitate technical discussions with the team
  • Business analysis experience to help define requirements
  • Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project/Sprint status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations.
  • Familiarity with the DevOps implementation focusing on the Continuous Integration and deployment leveraging automation building deployment pipelines with focus on quality and speed to market.
  • Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities
  • Has strong experience in Agile methodologies, Kanban, Scrum of Scrums, lean budget, managing release train, process improvements, provide training on Agile tools & dashboard.
  • Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $60 to $65. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
