- The successful will be responsible for ensuring to implement and manage the migration of data from the legacy systems to the new system software/applications.
- They play a key role in Developing and maintain data migration scripts and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.

Job Description
We're looking for someone who:
- Manage the end-to-end data migration process for Lending system, from data mapping to data validation and testing. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand data migration requirements and specifications.
- Develop and maintain data migration scripts and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.
- Design and develop data migration processes that are efficient, secure, and scalable.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement data quality controls and data governance processes.
- Develop and maintain data integration processes between two systems. Provide technical guidance and support to business users during data migration and integration processes. Troubleshoot data migration issues and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Monitor data migration processes and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies, tools, and techniques with Temenos, Flex cube or other lending products. Experience with data mapping, data validation, and data testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan.
- Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements.
- Work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
- Work across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration.
- Share knowledge with team members and develop customer solutions efficiently.
- Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping.
- Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
- Identification of, or creation of, cost-effective tools that may automate data migration.
- Updating and maintaining a database of records which index and reference archived documents.
- Migration of key documents from legacy tools to a common repository by following established processes.
You will need to show us that you can:
- Effectively manage data migration process and procedures with complex data structures and tables.
- Manage and engage with multiple stakeholders across various levels cutting across multiple departments in the bank in an Agile environment.
- Proven track record of business engagement and of being the link between business and technical communities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate key issues, risks and challenges backed up with strong data evidence.
- Define and document the migration requirements, and recommend appropriate solution, modifications, configurations, and processes and get sign off from the relevant stakeholders.
- Own the data mapping sheet and interacts with Business Stakeholders and IT teams to identify, document, and finalise the data elements to be migrated.
- Develop and propose data migration best practices and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Have a methodical and logical approach to migration planning, organization, and progress monitoring.
- Manages the identification, resolution and escalation of migration risks and issues.
- Proven ability to provide technical guidance and assistance to colleagues as appropriate.
