We are currently seeking a Cisco Network Eng. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
As a Network Eng.Sr. Specialist Advisor that enjoy solving problems, you will have strong network & security troubleshooting skills, drive to ensure robust network performance, and support secure communications with a high number of connected customers. Network Engineer will be responsible for network Operations and Infrastructure Services regionally and globally. As part of Network Team, the candidate's responsibilities will include day to day hands on network and security operations management, service management, change management etc., participation in on call rotations, create and maintain documentation.

- Oversee daily team meetings to set daily actions and follow up on same.
- Work closely with Client Account Directors on executing account strategies for account growth.
- Report recruiting activity and elevate any issues to account stakeholders and CORE leadership.
- Managing and motivating the team members - including career development, mentoring and performance management
- Work with Team on ongoing technical / process training issues, ensuring all should be tracked and resolved on time.
- Actively engaged with off-shore NOC team. Taking responsibility for driving on going outages and operational issues to get them resolved quickly.
- Working with team to get the Standard operational documents updated on shared portal to be followed by Team members and for Process Adherence.
- Responsible for Risk/Issues management, Communications Management, Stakeholders management, Scope management, Time/schedule management.
- Updating of On-Boarding Documents based on Operational Process Changes. Ensuring onboarding process been followed for new team member
- Manage internal technical / process audits which in turn help to manage performance matrix of team.
- Meetings with other Teams for discussing escalations among the different Teams and coming out with the best practices to avoid the escalations coming further among the Teams
- Conducting knowledge session among different Teams for knowledge Transfer on Processes used to support the Account in case of any change of Processes
- Govern overall project requirements for successful closure with lessons learnt from past while project is in transit.
- Pursuing Team members for initiatives like Peer review process to avoid getting escalations.
- Implementing and constant reviewing of process, to ensure the business model is fit for purpose.
- Maximizing client satisfaction through the successful delivery of projects.
- candidate having Good Routing & Switching Experience. Having knowledge of ACI would be good, hands-on is not mandatory.
- This environment includes, but not limited to: Cisco router, Nexus switches, CISCO Wireless, CISCO ACI
- Knowledge of Routing and switching design, Wireless Design configuration, implementation, and support
- Understanding of routing and switching protocols including but not limited to; BGP, OSPF, HSRP, Spanning Tree.
- Overall understanding of CISCO products
- Looking to have strong knowledge of above mentioned technologies (Hands-on).
- Firewall /VPN - configuring access rules, configuring site-to-site and remote VPN's. troubleshooting
- Must be proficient with network monitoring tools like ENTUTY/SolarWinds etc and experience in any opensource tools a plus.
- QoS, 802.1x, AAA, Zero Trust, IPsec VPN, IPS/IDS, SDWAN fabric, SSL Decryption, Proxies.
- Cloud experience is highly desirable experience with network troubleshooting and resolution of very complex routing problems.
- Participate in the setup, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation of enterprise-level, mission-critical, network infrastructure components.
- Teaming with project managers, cross-functional technology and business teams to ensure successful projects.
- Owning and documenting escalated support tickets and service requests through resolution via ServiceNow/Remedy.
- Adaptive, communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Full understanding of WAN/LAN internetworking, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing / proof of concept
- Skills and knowledge and adherence to ITIL & Change Management processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong customer service skills; interfaces with customers, end users, partners and associates
- Additionally, the candidate must work well within a team, adapt easily to change, and possess the flexibility to travel. Candidate should have a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals.
- Willing to work in 24X7 environment.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience on managing LAN & WAN Infrastructures
- 8+ years' experience on Routing & Switching, Riverbed & Wireless
- Vendor experience to include - VELO Cloud, Cisco, Riverbed
- CCIE Certification and any Other Certification will be a PLUS.
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Preferred knowledge of ARUBA SD-WAN (Hands-on) and Palo Alto NGFW
- Adaptive, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Project experience for SDN Infra & Networking
- Degree: B.Tech or equivalent work experience
- Working in collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
