The Project Manager, M&A IT will manage the design, deployment and delivery of Merger and Acquisition IT integration and divestment projects of medium complexity (determined by budget, scope, timeline and stakeholder), providing IT solutions that meet business requirements. This role will direct project teams (externals) and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives, setup and run all project related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, risks and act the primary point of contact for all project related escalations. The Project Manager, M&A IT will also ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.

About the Role

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of Merger and Acquisition and BD&L IT integration and divestment projects from project initiation to transition to operations.
  • Manage projects effectively, enabling them to be on time, to budget and to the expected quality level.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable Security and Compliance policies and controls.
  • Management methodologies, tools, and practices; and to delivery processes for IT projects.
  • Ensure successful deployments, measured by project KPI's.
  • Ensure benefits delivered by portfolio (risk mitigation, technology innovation, value added).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Project Management within M&A transaction activities.
  • Leading large and/or diverse multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D business processes, related data and systems is mandatory.
  • R&D Business analyst capabilities related to business processes and data
  • Financial Management and Project Finance capabilities.
  • Customer focus and business partnership, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaboration & communication Management, as well as solid Change Management and Decision Making Skills.
  • Project Risk Management and Project Team Management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English

You'll receive:
