As part of our highly dedicated Finance Digital Product Team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge IT solutions that drive innovation and performance. We're looking for a Predictive Finance -Data Man-ager to be the bridge between Finance and Digital business, ensuring seamless end-to-end solution delivery.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Business Stakeholders and TT Business Partners to analyze demand, pro-pose solutions, and manage project delivery. You'll be responsible for designing predictive finance data solu-tions that align with our architectural standards and meet quality, performance, and security requirements. Leading teams across various locations, you'll own and drive the entire product delivery process, ensuring our IT services support business goals, objectives, and compliance standards.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Act as the primary connection between Finance end to end Solution delivery and the Digital business for a given capability. Analyze and refine requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business
  • Solution Design of Finance system solutions in alignment with design and architectural standards, while meeting quality, performance, security and business requirements. Manage project teams in different locations.
  • Lead and drive large-scale, multi-year product roadmaps for global finance processes, impacting Novartis' financial results.
  • Maintain, optimize, and ensure the availability of Predictive Digital Finance Data.
  • Support Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Finance Data Team to provide insights and reports that improve operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Understand and align business objectives with IT solutions, ensuring compliance with external policies and regulations.
  • Provide IT consulting to stakeholders, driving the adoption of global solutions.
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring minimal disruption and maximizing benefits.

Key performance indicators:

  • Conduct impact analysis of digital technologies for the business.
  • Design system solutions that meet performance, security, and business requirements.
  • Research and recommend new software developments.
  • Lead the architecture and execution of data analysis, model development, and automation solutions.
  • Develop analytics strategies, operating models, and data governance frameworks.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new or modified services and manage data quality.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor new team members.
  • Manage a team of data analysts/engineers and oversee projects across multiple locations.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Foster innovation and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
  • Experience in Finance/IT roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, with a preference for AWS Architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP BW & SAP Finance, data.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality reports and analysis for senior management using complex data.
  • Skilled in developing and executing analytics strategies and roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data strategy, and data engineering.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD development tools.
  • Advanced skills in database administration, data modelling, and metadata management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, foster innovation, and build cross-team relationships.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities with a commitment to a positive work environment.
  • English (fluent). Spanish is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Finance domain
  • +5 years of experience on SAP BW with strong usage of finance data.
  • Experience with Snowflake administration, security, optimization, and feature exploitation
  • Previous hands-on role building data pipelines using Databricks. Hands-on technical experience with Apache Spark.
  • Performance Tuning of Spark SQL running on S3/Data Lake/Delta Lake/ storage and Strong Knowledge on Databricks and Cluster Configurations.
  • Experience with SageMaker
  • Expertise on AWS cloud environment: DynamoDB, EC2, SQS, IAM, Airflow, Jenkins, Step Function / Lambda
  • Exposure supporting AI / ML Products from data perspective.
  • Security management (object and data based).
  • Software development experience with proficiency in Python, Java, Scala or another language.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
