Summary
The Data Governance and Quality Manager will lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, ensuring the quality, consistency, and security of data across the ESG Data Domain. This role is responsible for overseeing data governance capabilities, data quality management, master data management (MDM) processes, and ensuring that business and data architecture are aligned with organization goals. Reporting to the Global ESG Reporting and Operations Project Lead, the Data Governance and Quality Manager will collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to promote a culture of data quality and governance, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the organization

Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization's data governance framework and policies
- Establish data quality standards, KPIs, and metrics to monitor the health and integrity of enterprise data assets
- Oversee creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across various domains
- Define and oversee data architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives, monitor data performance, and resolve data quality issues
- Support data architects in designing logical and physical data models that meet business and legal requirements and ensure scalability
- Align data control processes with business objectives and technological solutions within specific domains
- Manage the data lifecycle, ensuring data classification and data security are upheld according to enterprise guidelines
- Provide strategic guidance on the management and flow of data, ensuring integration with existing systems and processes
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree (IT or Data focus), Master Degree is a plus
- Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, or data architecture roles
- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data management best practices, and MDM principles
- Experience with data quality management tools and techniques, including data lineage, data profiling, and data cleansing
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture and data modeling standards
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in data management platforms, ERPs, and business intelligence tools
Desirable requirements:
- Experience working in large-scale MDM implementations across multiple business domains
- Experience in developing data governance metrics and dashboards for executive reporting
