The position will deploy, configure, and maintain a suite of Commercial and Open-Source applications.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Configure, deploy, and administer commercial and open-source software

Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products

Provide best practice, recommendations, and guidance to manage SSLM operations at scale

Ability to implement configuration management solutions

Scripting for DevOps processes

Server Configuration

Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes container deployment

Basic Qualifications T2:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in similar / related field OR Master's degree w/ zero (0) years of related experience.

Active DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

Possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher or obtain in 90 day from hire

Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems experience

Server/Client SW installation

Basic Qualifications T3:

Nine (9) years of experience with no degree, a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related STEM discipline with five (5) years of experience, a MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related STEM discipline with three (3) years of experience

Active DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

Possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher or obtain in 90 day from hire

Have a broad understanding of development, web operations, SDLC, etc.

Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems experience

Internet Information Services (IIS) or Apache experience

Server/Client SW installation

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

MCM (aka MECM/SCCM) experience

Experience creating software packages and deployment of software packages

Load Balancers: Apache, HA Proxy experience

Exposure to web-based software development or operations

Exposure to Cloud technologies

Atlassian Suite front end use and administration experience

Cameo / TWC administration experience

Scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript

Experience with Postgres and MS SQL Server desired

Experience with VDI and Appstack Creation

Active DoD Secret security clearance with last investigation less than 5 years

Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
