We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Logistics Engineer based out of Elkridge, MD. As a Staff Logistics Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You'll get to Do:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a full range of Logistics work products for a ground-based radar system-of-systems. Demonstrated experience planning and executing a program using EVMS is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers performing Product Support Analysis and Maintenance Engineering Analysis tasks, Technical Data and Customer Training tasks, International Shipping tasks, and Warranty repair tasks. Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of these fields is required. The successful candidate will work closely with others to communicate and resolve complex issues. A demonstrated track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who can develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 12 years of experience; or 10 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree; or 8 years with a PhD
* Demonstrated success in leading, collaborating, and developing complex technical projects across functional teams, with technical, cost and budget responsibilities.
* Demonstrated working knowledge in one or more elements of Product Support; such as Product Support Analysis or Logistics Support Analysis (PSA or LSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD) development, Technical Training for operation and maintenance of radar and/or communications equipment, or similar.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management, individual contributors and customers
* Ability and willingness to travel which could include foreign travel. Overall travel is expected to be 10% or less for specific events as they are required
* Must be a US Citizen
* Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated success as a Project Manager or Integrated Product Team Leader with Control Account Manager (CAM) duties for a project using Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
* Demonstrated working knowledge of Department of Defense Product Support disciplines sufficient to plan projects and ensure compliant delivery of Maintenance Engineering Analysis, Technical Documentation, Technical Training, International Shipping operations and Warranty/Repair operations.
Salary Range: *$122,600 - $184,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
