The Program Quality team in the Airborne Systems Business Unit is looking for an energetic individual to join our growing team to work on sight in our Baltimore, MD NGC facility. This individual will work in a dynamic environment, developing and implementing program quality plans, and procedures using statistical quality control techniques, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses tools. They will ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Additionally, reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems through inspections of hardware, drawing interpretation and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. They will also interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and customer representatives to ensure all requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and possible modifications along side engineering, program and cross functional teams.

This position can be hired at a Principal or Sr Principal Quality Analyst depending upon qualifications of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities include:

Managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) across multiple locations
* Analyzes data for trending and for continuous improvement
* Performing compliance audits to meet internal and external certification requirements (AS9100)
* Supporting compliance activities in line with Quality Standards groups (AS9100, DFARs, Customer)
* Ensuring process control documentation is compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contract
* Supporting corrective action boards (CAB) and implementing preventive and corrective actions
* Implementing continuous improvements to quality and mission assurance process areas
* Interface and provide support to various other organizations to address process issues/concerns and to ensure requirements are achieved
* Ability to collect, update and analyze metrics
* Support of factory/shop floor efforts in inspection and in manufacturing of hardware
Basic Qualifications for the Principal level:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality or manufacturing; masters degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing; will consider a minimum of 9 years of experience in quality/manufacturing in lieu of a bachelors degree
* US Citizenship required
* Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management
* Experience managing Quality Management Systems, process management, training, and continuous improvement
* Experience with Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action activities
* Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications for the Principal level:

AS9100D Lead Auditor certification
* Experience in leading in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
* Experience participating in cross-site and cross-functional continuous improvement projects
* Advanced SAP experience
* GD&T experience
* Experience with data analysis techniques
Basic Qualifications for the Sr Principal level:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality or manufacturing; masters degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in quality, manufacturing; will consider a minimum of 12 years of experience in quality/manufacturing in lieu of a bachelors degree
* US Citizenship required
* Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management
* Experience managing Quality Management Systems, process management, training, and continuous improvement
* Experience with Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action activities
* Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications for the Sr Principal level:

Salary Range: $87,000 - $130,600
Salary Range 2: $108,400 - $162,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
