Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to join our growing efforts in support of a large program that supports repair efforts. The selected candidate will lead a team of Data Analysts working in Warner Robins, Georgia. The Data Analytics team reports to Engineering and provides cross functional support to the site related to functional, performance, and financial reporting.
Leadership characteristics and people engagement is of the upmost importance, with an ability to exhibit professionalism and create a team working and learning environment. Communication is paramount, with an ability to clearly define expectations and work through issues. Additional leadership characteristics include the ability and willingness to step-up and assume accountability when the perception of need exists, and an ability to accomplish tasks in a positive manner while managing multiple projects at the same time with varying levels of maturity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Leads and plans the activities of a team that develops, transforms, and models data and/or data base systems to provide insights, enable decision making and improve performance.

* Designs visualization and systems for consumption of analytical results; transforms raw data into actionable information. Identifies, communicates, and quantifies opportunities for leveraging analytics solutions and applying data analytics.

* Acts as liaison with decision makers by providing data-informed strategic direction, and as a liaison with subject matter experts to obtain data sets and set expectations for potential of data analytics.

* Optimizes organization's data collection, management, and utilization strategy. Communicates the potential impact of analyses and applicable data privacy policies, procedures, and regulation.

* Works with end users to understand data requirements and ensures end user needs are met

* Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data analytics

* Reviewing presentations, manuscripts, graphs, and tables to ensure accuracy and quality

* Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrated management of teams in a technical environment

* A High School Diploma/GED and 9 years experience with a variety of data systems; A Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience, an Associates Degree with 7 years related experience, or a Masters degree and 3 years related experience will also be considered.

* Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data and provide executable plans to resolve complex issues arising from the findings

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), SharePoint

* US citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.

* Required to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in statistical and mathematical material modeling techniques with the ability to analyze large amounts of data for developing projections and estimates.

* Demonstrated financial and/or performance data analytics experience in a production environment

* Bachelors Degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years management experience

* Experience with systems such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, Tableau, and SAP S4 HANA

* Current DoD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $99,400 - $149,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
