We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Content Developer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and promoting compelling marketing content through a variety of online and offline channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube, website, email, trade marketing vehicles and press releases. The person in this on-site role will be responsible for creating engaging content through photography, videography, optimizing our website for search and developing advertising creative.
Initially this will be a part-time position (20-30 hours/week) with the potential to move into a full-time position based on performance and the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Development: Develop and edit photo, video, animation and written content for marketing promotional activities and lead generation
* Website Optimization: Develop search campaigns, optimize website content, and effectively lead SEO activities to increase website traffic and search results
* Advertising: Develop search advertising, trade advertising and social media advertising to drive lead generation and conversions
* Coordination: Work closely with internal team and advertising partners to meet deadlines and execute marketing calendar events
* Analytics: Track and report performance of all marketing activities and recommend marketing plan adjustments as needed
* Research: Conduct market and competitive research to identify industry trends and best practices and track competitive activity and performance
Basic Qualifications

3-5 years of experience working in a marketing or lead generation agency, or as a freelancer, working with B2B clients developing marketing content for advertising campaigns
* Experience in copywriting, graphic design, editing and publishing
* Strong working knowledge of content management software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)
* Experience managing email marketing campaigns and search advertising campaigns
* Good working knowledge of HTML and SEO
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Portfolio review will be part of the evaluation process
* Industry knowledge not required

Within the facility, solid-state oxide and fluoride crystals are grown from a high-temperature melt. SYNOPTICS has full optical fabrication capabilities for various plano and spherical geometries. SYNOPTICS serves the photonics and optics industry across the globe.

Salary Range: *$64,200 - $96,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
