IBCS is a networking enabled, Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) approach designed Integrated Fire Control System and is the centerpiece of the U.S. Army's modernization strategy for Air and Missile Defense. IBCS is in Full Rate Production, deployment and fielding with continued engineering, development, and test underpinned by an Agile SW development approach. IBCS production, software engineering and HW/SW integration is performed at Northrop Grumman facilities in Huntsville, AL.

As a Product Line Program Director, you will be lead and manage a cross-functional team responsible for IBCS product line manufacturing, agile SW development, and HW/SW integration of all IBCS hardware, software IBCS products and configurations managed within the product line. You will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, and performance in execution of IBCS HW/SW products through DD250 and acceptance. The successful candidate will be an experienced program management professional with competencies and capabilities in managing cost, schedule and technical performance on a large, complex production and SW development program. As the IBCS Product Line Program Director 1, you will report to the IBCS Operating Unit Director.
Key Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Leads and manages product line development and the successful delivery of IBCS HW and SW products to the customer to meet contractual requirements for cost, schedule and technical performance.
Provides day-to-day people leadership of a diverse cross-functional team and creates an environment that accelerates development of talent and drives continuous improvement.
Manages a cross functional team and integrated product team leadership encompassing HW and SW products, Lab infrastructure, logistics products, production, software engineering, and configuration management.
Manages product Line strategy development, processes, and execution of the Product Line Strategy Authority (PLSA).
Performs customer interface and management of the Product Line Configuration Control Board and implementation of configuration change management processes.
In support of Northrop Grumman programs, interfaces, and represents Northrop Grumman with senior military and government officials
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 10 years of program management experience
Applied knowledge and experience with large scale, production program management
Experience in business and contracts management, Earned Value, risk and opportunity management, supply chain, and mission assurance
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with senior Government and military officials and senior executives within industry and corporately
Ability to make and manage change decisions that impact the organization's structure, processes, operations, and services.
Demonstrated leadership within a cross-functional matrix organization
Demonstrated executive communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree with 8 years of program, functional, or IPT leadership
Allied experience with Product Line management and execution
Experience leading programs through multiple product lifecycle stages, including development, transition to production, and sustainment
Agile SW development, delivery, and sustainment management experience
Knowledge in air and missile defense and command and control capabilities
3+ years of leadership experience on a high-visibility program
* Project Management Professional certification, or similar
Salary Range: $207,400.00 - $311,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
