The selected candidate will perform system engineering and integration tasks relating to Product Support IPTs (Integrated Product Teams), and represent Product Support in interaction with Design Engineering and IPT support. Prior experience in systems engineering, system design concepts and maintenance of avionic and/or RF Systems, including Communications, Navigation, RADAR, digital and analog systems is required. Candidate shall have knowledge of design and database tools, and possess the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
Essential Functions:
Identify, analyze, quantify and influence logistics requirements to support the weapon system including spares, Support Equipment, technical data, training, facilities, and personnel
* Interface with vehicle engineering to influence designs for supportability
* Initiate and perform trade studies
* Perform detailed maintenance task analysis
* Determine overall weapon support system requirements for sustainment

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of engineering experience
* Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
* Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
* Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
* Experience with testability, troubleshooting, fault trees and/or FMECA
* Familiarity with GEIA-0007 and relational databases
* Active, in scope DoD Secret or higher clearance
Pay Range:
Associate Supportability Engineer: $58,200 - $87,200
* Supportability Engineer: $70,200 - $105,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
