Join the Supply Chain ND Inventory Optimization team, dedicated to optimizing inventory across the Nike Direct channels, and become our new Supply Chain Specialist NDDC Order Sourcing, based in the Netherlands. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- As Supply Chain Specialist NDDC Order Sourcing you will drive operational excellence through executional and transactional activities across relevant Nike systems, tools and reports to optimize inventory deployment and redeployment decisions across Nike nodes
- Utilize operational knowledge, analytical and critical thinking skills to elevate service while optimizing cost
- Subject Matter Expert on inventory flow with ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively to leaders and stakeholders
- Flexibly move to provide your subject matter expertise in areas of critical business need across EMEA Supply Chain
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Execute system transactions towards effective inventory deployment and redeployment transactions to optimize inventory flow across Nike nodes (DC's, RSC's and Stores) in collaboration with EMEA Distribution and Transportation teams
- Utilize Nike's analytical tools to simulate scenarios against various operational parameters to recommend inventory positioning and flow decisions
- Provide subject matter expertise in preparation of Key Retail Moments to maximize service while optimizing cost
- Collaborate with the EMEA and Global Multi-node teams to provide inputs, insights and learnings from daily operational transactions to inform future strategies and capability design
- Lead small sized improvement projects by applying project management tools and skills to define and follow-up on actions. Participate in medium to large sized cross-functional projects as the ND Order Sourcing subject matter expert
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Training Documents for ND Supply Chain
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU's operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Nike Direct Supply Chain team, Seasonal Excellence team, Transportation & Distribution, Supply Chain Analytics and EMEA/Global Technology teams.
In this role you will also work with external vendors and partners. This role has no direct reports.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1-3 years experience in a supply chain, allocation, planning, or back of house leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business, and a passion for operations
- Omnichannel Retail mindset and Experience
- Service/ Consumer Obsession
- Understanding of Supply Chain Planning & Operations and general business knowledge
- Strong analytical Mindset & Scenario Planning: Experience in KPI management and root cause analysis using excel and/or Tableau & perform deep dive analysis. Analytical & entrepreneurial skills which support a result driven approach delivering operational excellence
- Strong verbal and written communication: Ability to translate complex supply chain issues into concise insights, bringing recommendations that facilitates decision making
- Influencing X-functional stakeholders: Ambition to drive change, and ability to communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure and multinational teams
- Problem solving mentality with desire to improve processes & tools
- Strong service focus and a proactive demeanor
- Solid Excel knowledge and ability to pick up new systems quickly
