WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead Foundational Tech Product Management initiatives, aimed at evolving Nike's Global Technology platforms from ideation through to deployment and adoption. This role requires a deep learning expert who is well-versed in core information technology operations, new tech advancements and is capable of guiding product teams in these domains. This leader will develop the teams, shape the philosophy, plan, and strategize, as we deliver outstanding platforms, while driving maximum business value and operational efficiencies.

  • Develops information technology strategies, polices and plans.


  • Responsible for analysis, design, implementation, operations, and support of the organization's IT resources, systems, and software/database products.

  • Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.


  • Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities.


  • Responsible for developing project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports to the Chief Information Officer. While leading Foundational Tech Product Management, you will partner with executives across multiple functions to develop a cohesive product strategy, product roadmap, and to ensure business goals are met and exceeded. You will directly and indirectly lead multiple cross functional teams passionate about priorities based on a solid understanding of core IT operations, consumer needs, insights and an even stronger handle on in- depth data analysis. Above all, you will be a relentless champion for the needs of our partners serving Nike consumers.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Master's degree in software or related field is preferred.


  • 15 + years of experience in platform and cloud engineering and product management.


  • 5 + years of experience as people manager leading product teams, including having managers and managers of managers reporting into you.


  • Proven success and experience delivering clear executive level communications.


  • Multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.


  • Experience with working across Platform, Tech Ops, SRE, Enterprise Architecture, and Cyber Security to build core platform products and make "build versus buy" decisions.
