WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role will be reporting to the Senior Director, GPS APAC based in Singapore and represent the GPS Singapore team. The role will work closely with the GPS team, key country stakeholders, teammates in the GPS locations around world and engagements across Nike's global functions such as Procurement and Technology.

This role will partner with a large, diverse team of Nike employees both in person and remote, as well as engagements with outside suppliers and vendors.

We are seeking a Specialist in Facility Operations to join our GPS Singapore team, Singapore based. Our executives and senior leadership owe their success to the incredible people in this role who handle all the details.

The candidate needs:

  • 5+ years of facility operations experience
  • Strong interpersonal and highly developed communication skills in verbal/written and collaboration skills to engage with user groups and to build networks with key country stakeholders, GPS and other key Nike partners
  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external suppliers as well as cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Always maintain the strictest confidentiality on all matters

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As the Specialist II (Facility Operations), GPS Singapore, you will work closely with cross-functional Nike teammates in Singapore and GPS APAC teammates across South-East Asia. While creating and maintaining relationships with Nike business, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the workplace facility to ensure delivery excellence is achieved. You will act as a first point of contact, troubleshooting repair and maintenance works, dealing with queries as well as liaising with stakeholders and vendors.

Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead daily workplace inspections and maintain workplace facility by monitoring and coaching the Singapore janitorial team to elevate service delivery
  • Activate workplace solutions in Singapore and South-East Asia aligned with GPS global performance standards, delivered through service partners.
  • Implement and maintain facility operations procedures / systems as well as create and maintain South-East Asia workplace facility SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) playbook.
  • Coach South-East Asia teammates on workplace facility operations as needed
  • Lead Singapore event set-up logistics and coordinating with cross functional partners.
  • Manage and coordinate with third party vendors and communications as well as identify new strategic partner opportunities.
  • Manage contracts, compiling and preparing reports, and correspondence.
