As a critical driver for growth for Pacific, our Nike Partner Stores (NSP) play an integral role in showcasing our product innovation and brand passion for sport, community and service.

Reporting to the Senior Director Nike Direct Stores, the successful candidate will act as bridge between external Partner Stores teams and Internal Corporate teams. Externally this role will work closely with our Retail Partners and Stores and internally with Nike teams in Account Management, Consumer Direct Marketing (CDM), Visual Merchandising, Nike Athlete Experience (NAX), Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), Merchandising and Planning (DSM), to ensure smooth execution of our brand and season initiatives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Retail centric leader with a deep understanding of retail stores across sales, service, operations, product, brand, visual merchandising and training. The successful candidate will be confident and proven in their ability to execute within a retail environment, to extend the reach of our brand and elevate our Direct to Consumer business in collaboration with our Nike Stores Partner (NSP) Retailers to better serve athletes. We are looking for someone who has experience working with store teams and external stakeholders, and demonstrable experience leading and uniting cross-functional teams and partners around a clear vision. This role will need to have a sharp lens on continuous improvement, and will be comfortable monitoring, coaching and working with external retail partners and store teams under a franchise model.

  • Have 7+ years of progressive retail or partner management experience or related field with proven leadership capability
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Show the ability to engage, influence and communicate with both external and internal partners
  • Have highly developed organization skills and preferably hands on team management experience
  • Be comfortable working with a cross-cultural and diverse team
  • Have computer proficiency in MS Office Suite i.e. Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate leadership presence and influence skills with ability to lead and develop high performing team
  • Own retail management and marketplace expertise with digital, real estate & financial acumen
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously by prioritizing and empowering and deliver the result in a timely manner

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

In this role you will manage the portfolio of Nike Stores operated by our franchise partners. This role ensures that stores are operated in line with Nike's retail and service standards. In partnership with our retail partners, you will drive strategies, programs and consumer experiences to ensure premium execution for retail and mutual profitability.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of the Nike Stores strategy across our Nike Partner Stores fleet.
  • You will build action plans, in partnership with partners and store leaders to maximize profitability, productivity and business growth.
  • You will drive pre and in season execution and product sell through by ensuring a holistic alignment across brand execution, product storytelling, supply, training, visual merchandising, signage and communications.
  • You will lead and inspire all store leaders to prioritize selling & service to deliver a premium Nike experience to our consumers.
  • Your focus will be on listening to the voices of our store athletes and our consumer. Identifying trends/gaps and driving process improvement, resolution or change.
  • You will be responsible to evaluate store effectiveness and obsess the consumer experience (Checkouts, Fitting Rooms, Returns, and in-store programs and experiences)
  • You will conduct and lead NSP Marketplace Fleet Reviews and roll out Nike store retail and operational best practices and programs.
