WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Main stakeholders include Marketplace Operations, Forecasting, DC Operations, Finance, Procurement, Global Capabilities, and Small Parcel Carriers with high visibility to Senior Leadership.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate needs to have experience working in large-scale logistics/transportation operations including experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as finance and marketing. A proven leader with experience in training and developing high-functioning teams while continuing to sustain and strengthen the organization. Embraces change and challenges at a high rate, building a culture of curiosity striving for continuous improvement. Capable of identifying long-term needs, establishing processes, reports, and tools with one-to-two year implementation for future strategic initiatives. Able to manage and lead a diverse workforce, ranging in skillsets, perspectives, scope and acumen. Dynamic strategic thinker who enjoys collaborating in the development of end-to-end processes. Ability to identify, train, and develop talent for robust succession planning in a team with diverse set of skills and capabilities. Deficiency analysis with a keen eye towards continuous improvement. High correlation with root-cause analysis a benefit.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Aligning plans and execution cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, building synergies for a digital precision network and setting the standard for Nike's direct-to-consumer experience. Responsible to support future direct-to-consumer strategies through relationships with National and Regional Small Parcel Carriers, simultaneously meeting cost, service, and sustainability goals.

  • You'll oversee Last Mile transportation cost, service, and lead-time initiatives through multi-faceted collaboration, including observation and development of employees, system synergies and ways-of-working, with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You'll develop relationships cross-functionally whether internal or external to build up NIKE's value offerings / portfolio.
  • Translating obscure data points into operational outputs, driving change amongst Nike and 3PL stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WOULD BRING

  • 5+ years of experience supporting transportation operations in a retail/e-commerce supply chain environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • Professional/functional credentials and certifications
  • Experience with leading 10+ employee teams
  • In-the-Field observations necessary; expect
