- Develop business cases to support price/promo/coupon initiatives, innovations, and capability development. This includes developing and evaluating assumptions, creating, and modeling alternative financial scenarios, updating scenarios as latest information becomes available, and appropriately including business case elements in multi-year planning exercises.
- Understand and track progress against capability development and implementation plans scheduled to drive budgeted business growth including key milestones, deliverables, customer, trip, sales & margin, capital, and expense impacts. Monitor risks & opportunities, and drive solution development, elevating status, wins & opportunities to our Price & Value leadership team monthly.
- Synthesize monthly sales, margin and markdown impact projections from all Price & Value teams including pricing, promotions, front store coupons and category/branded coupon impacts. Routinely report actuals vs. planned on core KPIs as part of monthly leadership business review. Support leaders in translating and allocating front store total metrics into appropriate category allocations. Monitor category variances to plan, identify root causes, and communicate impacts and implications to Price & Value counterparts as well as Category Managers.
- Support Price & Value leadership by monitoring Pricing, Promotion, and Relationship Marketing cost centers vs. budget and forecast in key areas including expenses, headcount, contractors, funding, and capital. Work with Price & Value executive directors and partners from merchandising, marketing, finance, DDAT, and other key stakeholders to identify and capture root cause for any material variances or changes to annual budgets. Communicate variance drivers and future forecasts to merchandising and finance partners as needed.
- 5+ years' financial insight and analysis experience

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.40
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
