The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating original and trend-driven designs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of color and composition, and the ability to translate design concepts into commercially viable on trend designs.

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who brings engagement and curiosity to the women's graphic t-shirt business. This person will be focused on elevating the consumer experience by delivering creative solutions across a wide range of styles and consumer types, while driving an emotional connection to the Nike Brand through rich and compelling narratives.

This role requires passion and creativity, along with versatility and focus to see designs through the product creation process. This designer is a dedicated team player that knows how to collaborate, receive feedback, and manage multiple projects at any given time. This designer can also translate complex insights into authentic narratives and create compelling solutions that will help define the future of Nike Graphics.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will develop and create original graphics for Women's graphic t-shirts by researching and analyzing current market trends to inform your design concepts. You will prepare detailed design specifications for production by utilizing design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and modify artwork. This role will involve managing multiple design projects simultaneously to meet specified deadlines and participating in design reviews to provide constructive feedback to team members.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will be working with multiple teams of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver creative solutions in line with the Nike Design Ethos. This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet timelines, ensure feasibility of designs, while building consensus around your work and thinking. This role does not have direct reports and will report directly to the Senior Design Manager, Women's T-shirt Graphics.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, 5 years or more of graphic design experience at agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs.
  • Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture.
  • Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal audiences.
  • Proficient in sketching, illustration, typography, print and pattern, color theory and layout.
  • Knowledge of apparel product creation.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC and comfortable working within new digital spaces.
  • Ability to embrace diverse points of view while fostering an environment of inclusivity.
