WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike seeks a Store Design Intern who will support the innovation of environments and storytelling of our retail future . They will help imagine 3D , 2D graphic and digital storytelling with personal drive and creativity within a highly collaborative work environment. As our world expands across physical, digital, social and virtual plat f orms we're looking to partner with multidisciplinary thinkers and craftspeople more than ever.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will collaborate to refine and evolve environmental concepts within Nike's Retail footprint (and perhaps, beyond). We'll look for your work to reflect Nike's design ethos while improving consumer retail experiences. You will communicate and present design concepts to the team/Sr. Designer/Design Director and build presentation materials and tools that effectively communicate design intent.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Under the direction of a Sr . Designer or Design Director, you will develop retail environments and ideas both as an individual and within a team. The partnerships will span all disciples of design whether it be within our global retail design studio or across the multi-disciplinary design community across Nik e .

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You must be a full-time college student graduating in winter 2025 or spring 2026 majoring in one of the following fields: Architecture, Interior , or Environmental Design, and/or related disciplines of Industrial Design or Experien ce and Storytelling D esign


  • Interest in some or all of the following required: retail environments, conceptual storytelling , fixture design , branded environments, experiential design


  • Professional experience a bonus: Retail Sales , Retail design , Graphic/brand design, experiential design experience a plus.


  • K nowledge of design processes. K nowledge of all or some of the following tools and more : ACAD, SketchUp, Enscape , Rhino, Grasshopper, Unreal, Creative Suite, etc.


  • Ability to sketch design ideas and visually communicate concept development thoughts ideation.


  • Strong oral and written communications skills including meeting facilitation and presentations. Proven ability to effectively communicate concepts/design intent to senior creative team.


  • Ability to develop relationships with working teammates .
