WHAT YOU'LL WORK WITH
The EMEA Lead Professional Brand Planning, Marketplace & Media (Nike Grade 40) will be part of the Brand Planning team, reporting to the EMEA Senior Manager, Brand Planning, Marketplace & Media.
This role will be part of the extended Integrated Media team at Nike EMEA working closely with the Senior Director and its leadership team. This team manages all paid media campaigns that run in our geography, from big brand moments like the Olympics & Paralympics to our commercial Cyberweek campaigns and everything in between.
The key stakeholders will be:
- Brand Planning, Operations & Shared Services team
- EMEA & Global Media (Leadership) teams
- Digital & Brand Marketing teams
- X-functional stakeholders, i.e. Business, CODE, Strategy team
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A passionate marketeer with a planning and strategic mentality that ensures executional excellence and drives change.
The ideal candidate has experience in working with Paid Media or a background in Media Operations/Planning, can deal with complexity and ambiguity while driving innovation in the planning world. We are looking for a team player who is thriving when collaborating and managing multiple stakeholders. The individual should be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects with an eye on the detail whilst being able to zoom out to understand the bigger picture and prioritize against organizational needs.
- Long term relevant experience in related field
- Experience working with Paid Media or background in Media Operations/Planning at a Media agency or at a different brand or coming from a Strategy background.
- Experience in Budget management
- Mindset of accepting and leading change, despite the uncertainty it brings; excel in managing ambiguity
- Effective Communication / Matrix Management
- Feeling comfortable and natural in (Senior) Leadership conversations. Experience in managing up, down and through.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will lead and manage the yearly and upstream (early) seasonal planning, process & resourcing and quarterly hind sighting (QBRs). This includes driving Nike's (seasonal) strategy to life through the Media & Marketplace lens.
Your core responsibilities:
- Key advisor to and representative of the Integrated Media Snr. Director & Media Leadership team in wider strategic discussions
- Oversight of Media priorities & investments
- Alignment on key topics of all stakeholders across Media, Creative, Digital and Brand Marketing.
- Reporting to internal stakeholders across EMEA & Global, Marketing Leadership & possibly business stakeholders
- Influencing organizational needs/processes to ensure all plans are completed to the new Nike Brand standards.
