WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
Footwear Costing is key to creating value for both Nike and its Manufacturing partners through a driver-based costing platform that provides actionable and consistent transparency to the costs of developing and manufacturing of Nike Footwear across the source base. Footwear Costing is highly cross-functional considering and reflecting inputs across Footwear Development, Planning, Sourcing and Manufacturing, Finance as well as NIKE's Manufacturing partners tactically executing the seasonal costing process and strategically evolving costing methodologies. The Footwear Costing function maintains strong and collaborative relationships with all aforementioned stakeholders.

You will act as both an internal and external subject matter expert in Nike Costing, reporting to the Regional Standards Engineering Director. You will work with cross functional teams at Nikes (Regional Asia teams and Global Headquarters teams) and our Manufacturing partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Lead, Finance Standards Engineering to join our Regional Standards Engineering team located in our Partner Management Office at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. In this role you will be working with cross functional teams to create and operationalize the costing standards across Labor and Material, leveraging Nike and industry best practices. You will also partner with different teams across Partner Cost Engineering & Standards, Footwear Development, Sourcing and Manufacturing, Finance as well as Manufacturing partners to drive Value creation for Nike. The candidate needs to be proactive, a result-oriented collaborator who is strong in data analytics and problem solving. You must be able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and a flexible multitasker.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Development, Development, Lean, Manufacturing and Product Costing.
- Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (Finance, Engineering), with a preference for those holding an MBA or a Master's degree.
- Experience in the footwear or related product sectors is highly advantageous.
- High proficiency in problem solving and developing new processes and solutions.
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
- Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in standard costing, is highly desirable.
- A self-motivated and results-driven individual is sought, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
- As a Lead, Finance Standards Engineering, you will lead and support the team on the creation, evolution and stabilization of Nike Footwear Costing standards for Labor and Materials.
- You will also partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure standards are data-driven and adhere to Nike Footwear Costing methodology.
- You will socialize and align on costing standards across Nike's internal stakeholders and Manufacturing partners; provide standards operations support and training to Nike's internal stakeholders and Manufacturing partners.
- You will support the development and strategy formulation for Nike Footwear Costing elements.
- You will also collaborate with Partner Management Cost Engineering & Standards teams to drive cost optimization opportunities; as well as initiate, plan and execute Value creation projects.
