As the Lead, Soccer Brand Planning & Operations, you will be a member of the North America Consumer Planning & Operations Team (NA CPO). You will enable the creation and execution of youthful, consumer-obsessed integrated marketing strategies through strategic brand planning and cross-functional operational excellence to create brand love and achieve priority business outcomes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic professional who is a self-starter, solution-oriented, and soccer obsessed. As the Lead, Soccer Brand Planning & Operations North America (NA), you must be a consumer-centric and strategic enterprise thinker, passionate about finding solutions, and possess a growth mindset. You are a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in paving new paths for both the brand and business while challenging the status quo to best serve the consumer.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and has experience in brand management and/or brand strategy accompanied by a robust operational skillset. They are a strong communicator and problem-solver who fosters effective teamwork, builds trust and can influence teams in a matrixed organization to implement an end-to-end process. They must balance the needs of strategic upstream planning with downstream project execution. The candidate must have the soft skills required to orchestrate, coach, and inspire their team. They are the conduit to internal functional partners, establishing and upholding these relationships. They are organized, curious, and forward-thinking as they partner with brand management to develop and drive marketing strategy to meet the ever-changing marketplace. They have a strong desire to lead and evolve the way we work to truly shape the brand for the consumer and not be afraid to coach teammates along the way.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Nike is heavily invested in growing the game of Soccer in North America. You will help shape and operationalize the brand and marketplace strategies on the road to the Men's World Cup in 2026, Women's World Cup in 2027, and LA Olympics in 2028. As the Consumer Planning and Operations Lead, you will play an integral part in the shaping and driving of the future of Nike Soccer. You will be expected to support and drive the development of Men's & Women's Soccer Brand Strategy, Annual Operating Plan, Seasonal Priorities, Marketing Plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews. You will be an expert in our Consumer Code and One Marketing processes, ensuring clarity in our brand direction, consistent measurement of our brand performance to fuel continuous improvement and enable our priorities to be resourced including the development of budgets to meet business goals. You will shape the development and execution of end-to-end marketing initiatives by providing operational efficiency, thought partnership and process management tools to drive impact and deliver upon our brand strategies.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report directly to the Men's Director of Consumer Planning and Operations, with dotted-line reporting to the Men's Director, Soccer Brand Management in North America. You are a key strategic and operational partner to these leaders and will drive a cross-functional team and the end-to-end seasonal process. Your primary cross-functional business partners include North America and Global Brand Management, Digital, Integrated Media, Retail, Partners and City teams, while working closely with Brand Creative & Production and Program Development and Capabilities on our end-to-end brand marketing process to ensure that our work aligns with our strategy and serves our business goals.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • 7+ years relevant work experience in Strategy, Operations, Marketing preferred.
  • A passion for soccer and knowledge of the North America soccer industry and marketplace preferred.
  • A strategic mindset with innovative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills (preferred).
  • Proven experience driving an end-to-end integrated marketing process
  • Expertise in building and managing marketing budgets to meet business goals
  • Presentation skills, proficiency in Airtable, Keynote, Excel, agency management preferred.
  • Proven ability to leverage consumer insights and industry trends to shape actionable strategies
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and drive alignment across marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment, with a diverse group of individuals and talents, strong collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, investing in relationships across diverse brand, creative and business teams
  • Possesses an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude towards change, while remaining flexible and tolerant to ambiguity
