WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role is part Nike Planning team. Specifically supporting Women's Lifestyle Consumer planning. We own demand, supply & inventory plans across the E2E value chain to ensure Nike can meet it's strategic, financial, and operational goals. This includes working across other teams like Merchandising, Finance, Marketplace, Insights and Analytics and others. This role reports into Women's Lifestyle Assortment Planning Director.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated experience in assortment planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning. Growth mindset that is ready to leverage statistical forecasting, data science and new ways of working to develop a decision-oriented plan. Experience in a multi store retail environment preferred. Ability to think critically and understand the potential of a style in the marketplace as well as quantify any gaps to financial plan from a product potential perspective. Demonstrated ability to influence and design compelling communication grounded in data. Demonstrated problem solving skills Ability to approach planning end-to-end across all marketplace channels and multiple connected seasons beginning with retail metrics grounded in marketplace health. Main Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • With a track record in analysing consumer demand, retail (drivers) math's, financial planning optimizing margins, inventory planning skills and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with a broad range of audiences including senior business leaders, other senior planning leaders.
  • Commercial & Entrepreneurial mentality and skillset.
  • A strategic outlook and shown experience leading projects and cross-functional teams, with experience in overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet business expectations.
  • Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Lead AP role is responsible for developing and/or informing/influencing seasonal plan inclusive of RSV, net sales, margin, receipts, and inventory at the levels of Franchise/Merch Class x MPU (leveraging consistent business logic & analytics). You will develop strategies to meet CFoP strategic and financial goals and own product-driven OTB forecast to inform manufacturing decisions through to in-season optimization. Analyze the business against plan and forecasted in-season sales and inventories on a monthly or weekly basis assessing business risk / opportunity & developing action plans and driving escalations where needed Monitor top Franchise SSPs & drive x-marketplace decision-making to optimize product health and captured consumer demand and inform trading / pricing decisions Communicate and advocate Assortment Plan to x-functional leadership team at Franchise-/Merch Class-level through the lens of CFoP and In partnership with Merchandising to optimize sell-in in line with Power Player/MPU strategy and marketplace role Own and manage projects independently; set the project direction, define scope and proactively prioritize across wider work Act as the DSM representative within a Channel Squad, responsible for end-to-end functional and marketplace awareness as the sole functional squad member.
