Shift-Tuesday-Friday, 5PM-3:30AM

Who are we looking for:

As our Operation's Manager, you'll co-lead the execution of Nike's latest Omni-Channel Distribution Center, assuring that all departmental safety, service, quality and financial objectives are met! You'll demonstrate leadership in crafting a positive and collaborative environment engaging with our 3PL provider managing this Distribution Center. You'll lead a successful and cohesive work group by demonstrating a true dedication to continuous process improvement.

What you will work on:

In this role, we will need you to advise business processes to receive, store, process, and ship product timely and accurately to customers while optimizing operational results. You'll analyze performance data for the purpose of driving key decisions around service, operations and logistics. You'll facilitate and encourage process improvement focused on making the operation more effective, simple and flexible.

  • You will develop the annual departmental budget necessary to achieve the targeted goals while purposefully pursuing the high standards of customer service
  • Accountable for achieving annual operating budget
  • Facilitate and encourage continuous improvement processes passionate about making the operation more effective and flexible.
  • You will set and meet SMART goals for key result areas applying data.
  • You will play a meaningful role in identifying new planning capabilities across people, process, and digital tools and supervising our progress against these initiatives, defining both the relevant metrics and the appropriate forums to take action on them.
  • You will actively contribute to the development of distribution goals, and objectives, while working efficiently across departmental boundaries within the operation
  • You will be responsible for the overall shift and departmental production/efficiency goals

Who you will work with:

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Operations and lead and influence the input/output of 2-8 Area Managers and 40-150 full-time employees.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • Minimum 5 years operation direction experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SAP, DCMS and Kronos would be a plus
  • Proven understanding of automated distribution systems
  • Experience with budget overseeing and accountability
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening interpersonal skills, ability to lead other and influence at various levels of the organization
