Nike's Advanced Innovation Collective (AIC) Digital Capabilities team empowers innovation through integrated digital capabilities and experiences, seamless business integration and effective program management. We do this in collaboration with partners within AIC and across Nike and with key capabilities in consumer research, rapid prototyping, business model validation, and critical thinking.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

The Director, Digital Data Platform & Capabilities Innovation role will lead the Digital Data Platform & Capabilities team, and work closely across AIC teams, Global Technology and other enterprise partners to effectively vision, plan and deliver toward our strategic priorities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a Director who will have a demonstrated track record of team leadership, business result, balanced business and technology acumen, and cross-functional leadership across the enterprise to bring digital data platform and capabilities to life. You will need to simultaneously understand the big picture opportunities and have a strong command of the details of complex and sophisticated scope and landscape.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, or training
  • 9+ years experience leading digital capabilities management or product management with focus on data
  • 5+ years experience leading successful complex digital transformation programs involving cross-functional teams, including digital product, process, project/program management, transition management, design, engineering, architecture, etc.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering business results in dynamic and fast-faced environments
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to lead and drive data-driven decisions
  • Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Bias to action and progress over perfection mentality
  • Expertise in design thinking, test and learn, and iteration operating model

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Our Director will focus on leading innovation through the development of strategic foundational and cutting-edge technologies that accelerate the future of Nike through athlete data and insights to enable product innovation. This will be based on a solid understanding of business and user needs as well as data, technology and experiences to enable value delivery at scale with speed. Leveraging data-driven insights and user centricity to propel AIC forward, ensuring agility, competitiveness, and transformative growth in the ever-evolving digital landscape while unlocking speed to value.

  • Lead and manage a team of Digital Capabilities Managers and Data Analysts to achieve AIC DC strategic priorities.
  • Lead the definition of the business direction and outcome by developing digital capabilities vision, strategy, business case, KPIs and roadmap of the next generation data platforms and digital technology capabilities.
  • Work closely with business and technology leaders and stakeholders to drive strategic alignment.
  • Drive effective and efficient integrated planning and delivery of people, process, data and tools capabilities to unlock value for the business.
  • Assess and manage internal and competitive digital capabilities landscape, maturity and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct strategic annual and quarterly planning and business review.
