We're looking for a candidate with a self-starter attitude, flexibility and positive mindset who can multitask. This candidate should also have the ability to build trusting relationships with athletes to inspire and train them on visual merchandising and field of play direction in the diverse concept doors we have.

A successful candidate will also have a proven track record to take on multi tasks with competing priorities on seasonal needs, meeting deadlines and the ability to bring our premium doors to life in an impactful way.

The Candidate should have strong knowledge of product, visual and consumer journey direction and the ability to partner with our RB/OPS team, as well as Visual Merchandising (VM) North America counterparts to gain efficiencies and best practices. There is required travel in opening new doors across Canada as well as hands on in store time required for VM training, resets and walk throughs.

The successful candidate requires a flexible schedule to accommodate retail needs and hours.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will effectively support the Visual Merchandise Lead and Senior Marketing Manager to serve our (NSP) Nike Store Partner strategy and direction. You will partner and use NA visual direction, have strong product knowledge and the creativity to build the consumer journey on assortments in various door sizes/concepts with several fields of play.

You will develop accurate and creative seasonal visual directives, store mapping, door capacities and any fixture or mannequin needs. You will partner with store athletes
, merchandising team and marketing team to ensure one vision is shared and aligned to one marketplace approach for NSP vision.

You will establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships. You will work cross functionally in a positive and solution-oriented approach. In addition, you will provide exceptional visual by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key athlete and partner relationships at all levels of the Nike store business.

You will be results driven and be accountable for the planning, execution and timely coordination of visual plans across the Canada NSP doors. You will be flexible to adjust to the business needs on projects when it pertains to visual excellence and changing retail or store needs.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work and communicate with the NSP Senior Marketing Manager, the Visual Merchandising Lead, Visual Merchandising Specialist, RB/OPS team and cross functionally with internal teams as well as the partner retail teams.

You will report to the NSP Senior Marketing Manager, and your day-to-day planning and execution partnership is with the Visual Merchandising Lead.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or related field or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3 years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, product merchandising, buying or directly related experience. Multi-store/regional experience preferred
  • Strong visual background with previous experience in a retail environment
  • Demonstrated experience creating assortment plan mapping in store and capacities of stores and a strong understanding of general merchandising principles. Apparel focus is necessary
  • Ability to create unique presentation solutions for various retail environments that inspire the consumer, drive sales and align with the Nike brand voice
  • Knowledge of current retail landscape and the latest trends and innovations in retail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Influencing & negotiating skills preferred
  • You will demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross functional peers and athletes on the visual direction. You can multitask to meet deadlines and work with flexibility of teamwork and prioritize deadlines.
  • Confident presentation and computer skills with command of Outlook calendar, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote, Mac proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Access to a vehicle and ability to travel around GTA as needed (daily/weekly basis, schedules adjusts as needed).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within North America. Flex to vary if needed.
  • Ability to work early mornings/overnights/additional hours as needed.
  • Portfolio is required when selected for interviews.
