Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented candidate to assist with the optimization of our organization's training processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procedural workflows, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement, with specific experience in training and development within retail banking. As a candidate, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and assist in optimizing the performance of our training operations. You will identify and assess organizational training and development needs, presenting findings and recommendations to all levels of management. You will work independently under general supervision, utilizing your advanced skills and proficiency in training procedures and analysis techniques.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- The ability to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Effective communication is crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting procedures.
- Analyze existing procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of streamlined processes.
- Maintain accurate process documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with department heads to align processes with business goals.
- Facilitate communication between teams.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Lead, guide, and mentor lower-level team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 4 -5 years of experience within the financial industry.
- 2-4 years of experience in the training industry to include creating and delivering training programs.
- Experience in leading, guiding, and coaching professional staff.
- Proficiency with e-learning platforms, training software, and relevant tech tools.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex financial information, both verbally and in writing.
- Advanced skill analyzing, interpreting, and applying relevant data/instructions to training materials.
- Significant experience in working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Finance, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Working knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills
- Advanced database and presentation software skills.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

This job posting is for the Overseas Military Banking Program (OMBP) operated by Navy Federal Credit Union. The position is located in San Antonio, Texas and will be supporting Navy Federal's contract with the Department of Defense to operate OMBP
