Trade Confirmation, Associate, Product Support & Services ISG

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to join our ISG Aligned Operations Team is responsible for affirming and confirming that trades are agreed with counterparties, economic terms of the transactions are agreed and that we have sign off / exchange the legal documents produced by the drafting group.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Timely and accurate generation of trade confirmations for FID products in accordance with internal bookings, ISDA and industry standards.
  • Provide documentation support to Institutional Sales and Trading, and Bank Resource Management on ad hoc deals and projects.
  • Provide SME support for the ongoing standardization and confirmation automation initiatives.
  • Research and resolve confirmation discrepancies through proactive communication with internal partners (Legal, Sales, Trading, Compliance) and external counterparties.
  • Ability to think out of the box and work on identification of process/system to increase efficiencies
  • Develop relationships with clients (i.e., Counterparties, Traders, Origination, Legal, Credit, IT and Controllers) to understand the priorities of stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met, protect client confidentiality and address ad-hoc requests in a timely fashion.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Strong working knowledge of ISDA definitions is essential.
  • Understanding of basic lifecycle of OTC products
  • Experience in negotiating with clients to resolve language discrepancies.
  • Strong ability to maintain risk and control while balancing client service.
  • Root cause analysis of reoccurring problems with ability to resolve.
  • Flexible working in Shift (Asia or EMEA)
  • Stakeholder & Desk management skills At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
