This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The operations department ensures all onboarding and lifecycle processes of our client's accounts are well managed, resulting in an excellent experience with the Parametric product line. The Client Contracts and Controls team provides contract management, support for derivatives trading implementation and client onboarding, oversight and quality of client accounts, and other services to ensure the business runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is a leader of our global Contract Management organization, with responsibilities for the contract and document management lifecycles of our retail and institutional client base. This role will help support client and third-party contracts across services and products, implement regulatory change programs, implement oversight and audit functions, and support client onboarding processes. This role requires strong leadership skills with a focus on process improvement, analysis of risk and operational controls, strong communication and collaboration with senior leadership, and project acumen to ensure that deliverables are well defined and met.
This position will incorporate additional regional responsibilities for our Seattle office, supporting local staff of the Client Contracts and Controls organization, collecting feedback, effecting change, and stewarding a strong culture through daily interactions and supervisory oversight.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Vice President leader in our Operation's organization, this position will fulfill expectations associated with the competencies of a senior operations professional. These competencies include:
- Utilizing expertise to troubleshoot complex issues and actively train and mentor others
- Leading innovation projects, establishing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Coordinating complex projects, leading teams, and implementing efficient project management methods
- Shaping the organization's client service vision, resolving complex client issues, and building lasting partnerships with internal and external clients
- Proactively identifying and addressing emerging risks, designing and implementing cross-team risk management policies, and developing risk mitigation strategies
- Leading others, shaping organizational career and resource strategy, and inspiring teams toward common goals
- Actively influencing the outcomes of the direct team, global department, and broader firm toward achieving business objectives
Additionally, this position will have specific responsibilities related to the Contracts and Controls organization, including:
- Providing regional oversight for cross functional teams in the Seattle office
- Assessing new and changing regulatory requirements, establishing an implementation plan to remediate any identified gaps, and executing on the planned remediation within a set timeline
- Facilitating and governing the trade confirmation review process
- Managing the contract template repository and related processes
- Identifying and managing risk throughout the client contract, onboarding, and pricing processes
- Formalizing new and changing processes through process design, documentation, and governance
- Defining business requirements related to technology needs for both internal and external vendors
- Managing daily staffing and training plans for cross functional contract and oversight teams
- Serving as a point of escalation for internal and external clients
- Communicates with other managers, directors, external and internal staff to coordinate new initiatives, product launches, fee evaluations, or to address client needs
- Responsible for allocating department resources, hiring staff and delivering performance reviews
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's (4yr) degree w/ concentration in a business or legal related field
- 7+ years' experience in Financial Services
- At least two years leading and managing people
- Prior experience deploying project management methods to define, track, and attain objectives
- Well organized, self-starter with the ability to analyze information and support their team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to function successfully while building out and defining a new role
- Prior experience with operational risk, contracts, derivative products, client onboarding, and regulation implementation in a Financial Services organization

Salary range for the position: $110,000 - $225,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
