This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The operations department consists of a team of professionals that focuses on the overall operations of Parametric. This group ensures the production process is complete from start to finish and lines up with the goals and functions of other departments within the firm. Examples include supervising, organizing, and completing daily production, measuring and evaluating daily workload, and providing services to ensure the business runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Oversight Analyst is responsible for performing various audits for the operation departments' internal control; The analyst is responsible for working across the broader market operations to discover, understand and mitigate risk. This role is also responsible for reporting requests from compliance and the billing team. A successful Operation Oversight Associate candidate with 1-3 years of investment operation teams experience will be able to work comfortably with large sets of data and has strong analytical skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and evaluate audit outputs of department's work to ensure that exceptions are addressed timely and accurately.
-review large reconciliation breaks, unmanaged assets, client directed security and cash flows and other high-risk areas within operations.
-Work with various Investment Operation teams to create and implement new audits and reports
-Work on various firm wide compliance reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
-Assist with the Billing team's reporting requests.
-Responsible for ensuring that emails and inquiries are responded to accurately and timely.
-Work with IT automation on new reports and audits processes.
-Post fix income trades and run cash sleeve process.
-Assist supervisor in monitoring daily emails that come to the team, ensure appropriate follow up.
-May be assigned other operational tasks as needed.JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree (4-year degree), preferably in related discipline such as economics, finance, or marketing; work experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Familiarity with MS Office and the ability to learn additional internal/ external software programs
- Relationship-building skills and ability to thrive in team environment
- Ability to work independently and self-manage high volumes of data with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail & highly process oriented
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary range for the position: $60,000-$90,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
