MSEHSE Finance COO (Frankfurt) - (12 months fixed term contract)
The MSEHSE Finance COO team comprises of three employees based in Frankfurt. The team work closely with the EMEA Finance COO team based in London.
Department Profile:
The Finance Department reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records and by contributing to Firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.

What will you be doing?
- Reporting to the MSEHSE Group Finance Chief Operating Officer (COO), support the MSEHSE Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and wider MSEHSE Finance management in the operations of the MSEHSE Finance division and the execution of divisional and firm strategy.
- Co-ordinate divisional governance materials for use at both executive and non-executive governance forums (including management and supervisory boards and their committees).
- Manage the delivery of high-quality cross-Finance regulatory and compliance driven projects, workshops, information requests and initiatives, including compiling and reviewing of materials and assisting with the coordination of gap analyses.
- Support Finance in its engagement with the ECB and provide central coordination for, and challenge of, regulatory communications and responses across the Division.
- Develop strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across other divisions including HR, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Services, Risk and Firm Management functions.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience at a global financial institution preferably in the Finance division or a similar control function.
- Proven track record in a COO or business manager role at a large institution.
- Ability to create meaningful, articulate documentation for use at all levels including executive and board level.
