KYC Refresh, Associate, Core Services

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in SSBO Client Onboarding & Reference Data Services (CORDS) to support the KYC team responsible for managing the refresh program across global jurisdictions.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
  • Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.
  • Previous experience working in an AML/KYC role, preferred either in case management or QC type roles.
  • Knowledge in customer profiling and multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to meeting and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills, able to confidently engage with clients and to influence internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Strong risk and controls awareness.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Ability to establish clear goals and priorities and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values.
  • Good clients focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and directly with clients.
  • Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the bigger picture.
  • Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task.
  • Share information, ideas, and suggestions by working collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
  • Ability to escalate effectively and in a timely manner when required.
  • Proficient user of Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Certification in AML/KYC (e.g., CAMS) is desirable but not essential.
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
