About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Japan Corporate Communications team. Based in Tokyo, this individual will work collaboratively with global and regional teams to drive our day-to-day Internal and External Communications functions, cultivating employee engagement internally and ensuring the Firm's narratives are accurately and positively represented externally. The successful candidate will also support our Community Affairs efforts across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and issue corporate communications contents, including drafting/editing internal memos and stories, intranet/website updates, announcements, talking points, etc. in both English and Japanese
- Review materials for internal stakeholders (emails, intranet, posters, etc.) as well as external-facing materials (corporate brochure, bilingual annual reports, advertisements, webcasts, client letters/invitations, etc.) to ensure consistency with Firm's guidelines
- Plan and execute internal events to engage employees, including management townhalls, leadership sessions and firm-wide networking
- Partner with internal stakeholders to execute key global initiatives and local employee engagement campaigns
- Execute communication activities around global and local philanthropic initiatives, in close coordination with the Japan CSR Committee and global Community Affairs team, and ensure Japan-based activities are aligned with the Firm's global themes and protocol
- Work in collaboration with media relations team and support public relations activities, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across channels including media
- Work in collaboration with global Firmwide Marketing teams and stakeholders on contents for the Firm's bilingual public website, various marketing collaterals, social media contents, etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Native-level in Japanese; Fluent or Native-level in English (both verbal and written)
- University graduate with minimum of five-years working experience
- Experience in corporate communications, public relations, writing or other relevant discipline is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Strong competency in writing, editing in both Japanese and English
- Strong project planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities to meet deadlines
- Attention to details is a must
- Proactive self-starter and a flexible team player
- Creative and has a passion for building a positive and engaged company culture
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy regarding information
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Research skills to collect data and information
- Computer/IT literacy
