About the Division
As a part of the divisional management team of the Investment Banking Division in Japan, the associate will play key roles in the business management of the division encompassing business planning, operational risk, administration & expense management and technology / infrastructure management.

About the Position
The position involves having a sound understanding of business and operational / administrative flows, industry trends, as well as the overall business of the Firm. The individual will collaborate with personnel of all levels across the Firm and its JV partners locally and globally to further the business agenda while balancing risk management, ensuring sound financial management and operational / administrative support framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global constituents including JV partners on global / local initiatives including policy and framework implementation
- Project management and execution of strategic initiatives encompassing business planning, risk, finance, administration, technology / infrastructure
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
- Solid verbal and written English and Japanese skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and manage time effectively
- Team player and global / local coordination skills
- Ability to proactively identify issues and develop strategies to overcome challenges
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- PC Skills required - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Committed to contribute to the Firm and ultimately our clients
- Investment banking experience, project management or finance, operational risk / administration management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
