Position Description:
The Product Development team within Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) works with the business to establish the overall strategy and priorities for the technology products and platforms. Based on the business strategy and overall priorities, the Product Development team creates product plans including high level business requirements, identifies the benefits, and an overall market rollout plan.

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile professional to take on a hybrid role combining Product Management, Project Management, Testing, Subject Matter Expertise and Business Analysis. This role requires a strong ability to define project strategies, manage projects, conduct business analysis, ensure quality assurance, and provide industry specific expertise. The ideal candidate will have a mix of leadership, analytical, and hands on testing skills to drive product success.
The candidate will work closely with the business unit to manage and implement the direction and priorities of the Middle Office Treasury System platform. This candidate will be responsible for facilitating and gathering detailed user requirements for the development teams, facilitating design reviews with the business and manage the overall rollout plans including QA, user testing, staff training and final delivery. This role also includes being the first line of user support for products, track client issues and works with the business to prioritize post implementation issues and enhancements requests. This candidate will have to coordinate between the business and development teams across multiple global locations.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product roadmap based on business goals and user needs
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and users
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Identify risks, dependencies and bottlenecks, implementing mitigation strategies
- Track project progress and provide status reports to leadership
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements
- Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, business rules, and user stories
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and work with end-users to validate solutions
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and FAQ's
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, testing, or a related role
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, SDLC, and agile methodologies
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Service Now)
- Proficient in requirement gathering, process modeling, and gap analysis
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Needs to be comfortable with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
- Experience working with/for hedge funds, private equity funds, hedge fund technology vendors, hedge fund administrators and/or prime brokers is a plus
- Knowledge of Cash/Swift processing is a plus

Expected base pay rate for the role will be between $110,000 to $130,000 for Director, per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
